Sometimes the ways the Lord calls you to serve him and others are hard and tiring but necessary. Whether you're a church leader, volunteer or carer, or you're missionally serving at work, you know that obedience can be costly and challenging.
So how do you keep serving when you're running on empty? How do you keep pouring yourself out with courage and joy?
With gentleness and realism, Faith Chang explores how the promises of God sustain you when a life of Christian service is wearying. As you read, you will...
- Find encouragement in God's presence and promises
- Face the real costs of serving without losing heart
- Remember that your work in Jesus' name is never in vain
- See how the cruciform life leads to resurrection hope
Don't lose heart, faithful but worn-out Christian. As you'll see, God's work in and through you is enough, even when you're serving on empty.
