Do you feel isolated due to hiding secrets and deception in your life that are too painful to share? Are you insulating from others because the reality of betrayal from others is too much? Has the enemy deceived you by whispering lies that tease and taunt you? Are you holding and hiding wounds that you've carried for a lifetime? You don't have to carry the heavy burden of deception any longer. You don't have to pretend that everything is OK when it's not. And you can actually walk away from the burden of deception to freedom. Rebecca Jackson is all too familiar with the sinister layers of deception from her own self-deception, deep deception from spouses, and deception from the enemy. In Wilderness Wandering: God's Pursuit of a Heart Deeply Deceived, she invites you to walk with her as the Lord pursues her in unexpected places and ways, preparing her to step into complete surrender. Rebecca reveals how the Lord led her to lay down over four decades of self-deception while helping her recognize: - The danger of denying abuse, trauma, and the 4 Cs of deception - The pitfalls of self-deception - The danger of others' deception - The sinister tactics of the enemy's deception - Walking through unexpected grief and loss while her eyes remain fixed on Jesus - The truth of the Lord desiring intimacy with His beloved and hope that is only from Him. There is a chasm in life that can never be closed until you experience true intimacy with the Lord. Are you ready to take first steps to narrow that "gap and deep ache in your heart?" The Lord is ready and willing to walk with you to unyoke burdens you were never meant to carry and find true intimacy with Him.
